If anyone had asked me 6 months ago, if I was thinking about what I was eating, I would answer that that I didn’t care. I’ve always been slim, actually most of my youth a little too thin.

When I was a teenager, I was quite envious of my girlfriends who talked about dieting. I wanted to be just like them, but I didn’t have the need to go on some fancy diet.

Something I have learned over the years, is that it is not always easy to get rid of the kilos that I had gained all the wrong places. I have always been able to eat what suits me, without gaining a single gram. There is a famous quote that says: You are what you eat. Maybe not literally, but I’ve learned that is important what you put in to your mouth.

Today I am an adult woman, 34 years of age. I am an early retiree due to sclerosis. In addition, I have psoriasis and a high level of cholesterol.

This is my story that I would like to pass on. Because fortunately I got smarter over the years. Many studies have been made that show that even if it is in one’s genes, diseases can be avoided by eating right – I just didn’t realize what was “right”.

Six months ago, I weighed 62 kg. A kilo of numbers that were stable and it suited me fine. But in one month the weight increased and suddenly I weighed just under 75 kg. But it was more the consequences I was not happy with. I had no energy, I didn’t care about everything and I could no longer recognize the woman I saw in the mirror.

I didn’t care to take care of myself.

Just bending over became difficult. All of a sudden I felt like a tall pregnant woman who had trouble tying my shoes and I was sick and tired of myself.

One day, Patricia introduced me to Back to Basics

I was very skeptical to begin with, because my medical practitioner told me, that due to my high cholesterol level, I should keep away from all fats, including the fatty edge of meat and keep away from especially eggs. When I heard of this lifestyle, it made all the alarm clocks ring. I began to research what fat and sugar does to our bodies and how it’s all connected – cause I have to admit that I had never heard of this before that day.

Already the next day I was convinced that I should try this lifestyle – Patricia can be incredibly convincing… If this lifestyle didn’t work out for me, I could always return to my old way of living. I had to give it a chance, for what is 6 weeks of my life, right?

I had previously been introduced to other lifestyles and diets – in fact so many, that I ended up confused about food.

We live in a world and time, where everyone is advertising for something that just doesn’t work! (thats my opinion). But I received my materials and read them thoroughly, and all the information that Patricia had given me and then I took off.

Believe me, I was so surprised and amazed how good and tasty the food is. After day 11, I stood on the scale…. I had lost whopping 6 kg! In only 11 days!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it.

I was so happy. Now I could see a way out of my misery. My self-confidence was destroyed. I was no longer happy for myself, so how could others be confident and happy with who they are?

I have been asked by several how many kilos I wanted to lose. But for me, Back to Basics is not a weightloss program. It is a lifestyle for getting healthy, a healthy body and mind. When you feel better for each day, weightloss becomes kind of a bonus, not a priority.

I want to lose more weight, because I am still not satisfied yet, but I know that it will be very easy with a minimum of effort and with delicious meals every day. I comes natural to me now…. Easy peasy!

When I think about it, I am still surprised that because I have eaten lots of fats and cutted carbohydrates down to a minimum, I was able to lose 6 kilos in just 11 days – whitout any exercise!

Exercise is healthy, but I was one of those types who joined a gym, got there a couple of times and then just lost all interest. You probably know that type.

Living this lifestyle turned my life completely upside down. It is, by far, the best thing I have ever done for myself! I feel I’ve got my life back.

I can’t believe it’s already been 6 weeks since I started. I haven’t written my progress down weekly, and now I can barely remember how my life was before I started with my 6 week back to Basics course.

It has been an amazing experience and I feel so good.

Before I couldn’t sleep at night, now I have a whole night sleep. I am no longer hungry and craving all day long like I was used to, and now I have lost 11 kilos in just 6 weeks. Not only that, I can feel more kilos coming off. It’s like my body decides when it’s ready to let go of the kilos.

It is completely unbelievable and amazing how easy this was.

When I met Patricia, who gladly told me about this lifestyle, I was so skeptical. I thought, yeah right, all that fat I had to consume could never be good for me. How am I going to survive 6 weeks without my coca Cola, candy and other bad habits. But I took one step at the time. I have to admit, I was wrong. It was very easy and I am for sure never ever going back to my old lifestyle!!

After the first week I didn’t even want to eat carbs or drink cola, and I’ve almost been frantic if I’ve got Nutella on my fingers – actually I became a bit frantic when my kids wanted bread  (they still get a bit of the “old style” meals) Before this ligestyle I would have just aten it all, because I had it in my kitchen, now it doesn’t temp me at all.

In the past I had just eaten it, also with a spoon, but now I do not want to eat it. And it is almost the funniest thing about this lifestyle that you can completely panic if you were to eat some of the food you actually didn’t even want anymore.

I can only recommend Back to Basics to others!!

You will feel good about yourself and not just because of weight loss. Self-confidence increases and feel happiness within. I have learned so much about self-love in this process. I began to look at myself in a different way and I have learned how important it is to take care of yourself.

I haven’t been good to my body before. I ate what I thought was best for me because I didn’t know better. Haven’t you ever thought about, how people eat low fat diets and there has never been so many sick and obese people in the worlds as there is today?

I  have been very ill because of my sclerosis. But I now understand how important fat is when you have this disease. I haven’t had a single attack since I started this lifestyle!

Unfortunately many people first think about there lifestyle after they become ill. But since I have changed my lifestyle to Back to Basics, I feel so much better and I do not consider myself sick anymore.

My psoriasis is completely gone, my energy level has totally changed, and I look at myself with other eyes. People tell me that I look amazing and shine like never before. I actually feel that I have been given a completely different life – and I am so grateful for that.

I hope my message reaches a lot of people, both those who are sick, but also those who want to be healthy and just want a long, good life! I give Patricia my highest recommendation.

I know that every single participant that Patricia has had through the course, has never felt better, more healthy and a weightloss succes, and many have told me that they have almost experienced miracles. I know it sounds crazy!

Throughout the process I have gotten all the help I needed. Patricia is a fantastic woman who, because of he happy ways, always makes you feel special and unique. We are all something special and Patricia makes sure you feel that way. Whenever I had questions, she always explained and answered in a way I could understand. She has just been there all the way

So a huge thank you to Patricia – without you I had never gotten the life I only dreamed of – and I want everyone to do this for themselves. There is nothing better than going Back to Basics!

I am honored to get to know this wonderful young man. His name is Marius and he is 16 years old. He has followed our Back to Basics program for 8 weeks now.

It’s so amazing!

I am so proud that me, as a 16-year-old, with school, friends and parties, can commit and go all in, and change my life in a heartbeat.

Marius himself says that this is the easiest thing he has ever done. He eats steaks with bearnaise and vegetables fried in butter, that is absolutely amazing.

Marius’s best friend is also on our 6-week course, and his excess kilos also disappear very quickly. Even more amazing is that they can support each other, even when there are parties and events in school.

“We have made a bet not to drink alcohol for 4 weeks,” says the two young guys and laugh at each other.

Having two very young people on our course has been a breath of fresh air – they’ve added fun and laughter, and we’ve all got a smile on our lips about their approach to things. Whatever I had to say or had to add, or give the guys challenges, they have taken it upright – nothing has been able to beat them. The two of them lived straight by the book when it comes to the food and what else they have been presented to.

Back to Basics is for everyone. Regardless of age, gender and flaws, and whatever goals and dreams you have, the course is easy, fun and shows results in a very short period of time. The best part of all, is that the weight keeps going down, even if the course is over, because here we change our lifestyle, in an easy and durable way. And as Marius says, steak with bearnaise is just the best thing in the world.

Back to Basics has been a new universe for me. After numerous times trying to lose weight, which only works short-sighted, and afterwards I gained it all again.

This is the first time I have succes. I am so satisfied after eating delicious food, that is easy to prepare, and for the first time I have no need for sweets, which I thought was impossible for me.

I love food, which is so wonderful, because we are allowed to eat almost everything I love, and that is a great relief compared to what I have tried with restrictive diets.

I don’t count calories for the first time, I don’t weigh my food, and I eat as I did before, only with a few adjustments.

My sleep is fantastic, and as an amazing bonus I lost 11.5 kilos in 6 weeks.

Back to Basics is here to stay for the rest of my life. No more dieting and living with limitations – it doesn’t work anyway.

“ I have been overweight for many years, and in the beginning I was a bit skeptical when I heard about Back to Basics. I was used to counting calories, I did lots of hard physical training and bought food with the lowest fat percentage. Drinking heavy cream, eating butter, eating my steak with marbling and food with high fat percentage was the right choice for me.

I went from being constantly hungry to never feeling hungry and always satisfied. No cravings for cake, candy or sweets, because I feel full and satisfied just by eating fat!!

Hi, my name is Henriette! Here is my story of how I came to live by the Back to Basics principals and how I “live” my life for the first time, and not only survive my life!

I can’t remember, never having stomach aches or struggled with my digestion.

When I was a child, I needed an enema to go to the toilet, And it has always been associated with something painful   In 2001 I had my appendix removed, wich bursted during the operation,because I came to late to the hospital. I didn’t think it was appendicitis because of my constant pain in the stomach region.

Already at that time, gastric acid suppressing drugs were part of my everyday life. In 2009 I had my gall bladder removed, I could literally not take anything else but Nupo meal replacements, and I had to drink them very slowly to prevent gallstone attacks.

I had seizures several times a week and ended with the doctor coming regularly and gave me a shot of morphine.
When they removed the gallbladder they bruised my liver, which caused internal bleeding. That caused a blood clot the size of a fist, that took a while to get over.

After that operation I was sure I could eat again, but there where long lists with banned foods, that could cause seizures.

I got more and more acid-suppressing drugs.

I couldn’t vomit and I thought it was normal when you had your gallbladder removed. It might sound weird, but I actually think human beings are supposed to have the ability to vomit.

Five years ago, I was operated for a disc herniation and had my ovaries removed only one month apart. This is when I started binge eating. I was self-employed for many years, but could not work so much now.

I was constantly thinking about food, more specific, chocolate! Every time I finished a meal I thought about my next ”fix”.  I tried to turn my life around with all the cures that usually worked when I wanted to lose weight, but nothing ever did!    When I complained to others, I was told that I had to learn to live with the way I looked.  In March 2018, I got to know Patricia through my cousin, who is living by Back to Basics principals, and had a huge weightloss. Not only that, he felt healthy. That’s when I decided I had to try. I had not given up on me, but the established healthcare system could not help me, they made me feel like a hypochondriac

In march I startede on the basic course of Back to Basics. I thought I was gonna lose weight as fast as my cousin, but no. … I didn’t lose any weight the first couple of weeks.  It upset me to experience that my body wasn’t ready to let go of the fat.

But with the support of other participants, mentors and especially Patricia, I began to lose weight very slowly. I learned that the worst thing you can do, is forcing a body in destress to lose weight. Patricia told me to forget the scale for a while, and when I weighed myself a couple of weeks later, I had lost 6 kilos. But the funny part is that the weight loss became less and less important to me after a very short period of time.i wanted to be healthy. That was my main focus!

After the first meeting, I found out that I did NOT have too much stomach acid but virtually nothing!I quit the acid suppressing drugs and startet my new lifestile.

Today it is extremely rare that I feel stomach aches, I can tolerate most foods and do not think much about toilet visits anymore
I can vomit like any other person, which of course sounds strange, but it’s a great thing to be able to, especially when you haven’t had that ability for a long time. I do not know how many kilos I have lost, last time I was on the scale it was 15 kilos. Clothes I only dreamed of wearing, I can now wear

Oles bloodsugar went from 33 to 6,5 in 13 days

Just before New Year, Ole Clement sent me this picture. He had been diagnosed with diabetes type 2 and felt really bad. He had a blood sugar rate of 29 and some days it was so high that the machine could not even measure it.

He needed help!

Ole started on the Back to Basics program about 13 days ago and what a change. He suddenly sleeps at night without getting up and peeing, he has energy and you literally see his belly shrink a little every day.

Tomorrow, it is 14 days ago since Ole started living Back to Basics, and now his blood sugar has dropped to 6.5.

He has lost over 5 kilos and feels absolutely good about himself. His mood is sky high and positive and blood sugar low. He even dropped his medication for diabetes already a few days after start-up as he was afraid of all the side effects the drugs would give him.

Hi, my name is Christine and I am 37 years old.

I started with Patricia Højbo and all the wonderful mentors in Back to Basics on 14 / 1-19… Before that, I had abused my body for 16 years, not because I deliberately mistreated it, but because I lived like many others do, I ate too much, especially pasta and rice and other carbohydrates and especially because I took way too much medicine.

My whole body shut down!

As a 21 year old I woke up with a massive pain in my neck, which within 4 months resulted in a locked jaw, severe pain in my back and loins.

I visited several doctors but no one could understand what happened and why.

I was tested and scanned for all sorts of things and everything was just “normal”, but because of the severe pain I have had over the years, I took 3-4 “servings” of painkillers daily, a good mix of paracetamol, arthritis drugs and muscle relaxants to maintain a tolerable everyday life.

In November 2018, I heard about Back to Basics. I then read a lot about it before I started the course on the 14th of january and it is simply the best I have done for me and my body!!!!

9.5 kg and 38 cm disappeared in 5 weeks!

The last year before start-up on Back to Basics, I suffered from painfull cramps in the legs at night, was up about 4 times in the middle of the night to pee and slept poorly.

After 1 week on The cool life got better – and after 3 weeks I slept through at night without cramps and with max 1 pee ..

I have lost 9.5 kg in 5 weeks, thrown 15 cm around my stomach, 14 cm around the buttocks and 8 cm around the chest ..

I have so much energy and the best part of all is that after week 3 I have only taken painkillers max once a day, it is simply fantastic !!!!

At the same time, my body and mind found peace and most importantly, I can feel positive effects in my body, in stead of having daily pain.

I still have a long way to go, but Back to Basics is the only right thing for me and I can’t imagine going back to the bad things that my old lifestyle gave me.

In week 3 + 4, my body cleansed and purified so much, it caused incredibly itchy skin… I trembled inside and felt really bad. Now I understand why, all toxic particles had to get out of my body to get healthy, and one thing is for sure, they are not allowed to come back! I am not going there again ever!
